Nello Helps Hope Foundation Raise $35,000

Southpointe, PA - On June 21, Nello Construction Company helped The Noah Angelici Hope Foundation raise $35,000 to benefit Noah's House of Hope, where Twin-To-Twin Transfusion Syndrome and Patient Advocacy will benefit, along with The Children's Home & Lemieux Family Center.

The day was blessed with beautiful weather as 145 participants enjoyed a round of golf at Southpointe, one of the area's finest golf courses. The scramble was followed by a delectable dinner that included door prizes and a silent auction.

Preceding the auction, Craig Wolfley, a former Pittsburgh Steeler and current WDVE sideline reporter, gave a heartfelt message about doing God's work to instill "hope" in the lives of children.  Other speakers included Dan Musher of the Children's Home & Lemieux Family Center as well as Melissa Myler of the Mylan Classic.

In addition to Nello Construction Company, other construction and development organizations supported the event including Millcraft Industries, Scalise Industries, Horizon Properties Group, CentiMark, Master Builders' Association of Western PA, and Mascaro Construction Company.

As a precursor to the golf outing, funds were raised at Noah's Follow the Star Gala on December 30, 2009, at Le Mont Restaurant. Wonderful prizes were raffled throughout the evening including a cruise to the Bahamas, a vacation to the Outer Banks, and a diamond ring valued at $2,335 by Mark Helgerman of Trinity Jewelers.
