Value: $3.56 Million

New construction of a 22,000 sq. ft. 1-story fire department located at the portal to USC Township along the main access road on approx. 4.6 acres.

This facility hosts six truck bays, conference and training space, a bunk room, and kitchen.

Sidewalks are heated from below with a radiant heat system to eliminate dependency on township staff for snow removal saving response time and maintenance costs.

Material selections were sensitive to the surrounding neighborhood and the clerestory in the truck back is reminiscent of the hose drying apparatus of the past

Other amenities are on-site training grounds behind station, mezzanine for "smoke maze" training, operable windows at clerestory for rappelling and ladder training. Generator to maintain operability during crisis and 911 services, large training and seminar room, fitness center and motion sensor lighting for energy savings.
